We are pleased to inform you that, in its 8th edition, the International Congress of Animal Nutrition will be held in the city of Murcia on May 23 and 24, 2024.

This Congress will be organised by the Association of Compound Feed Manufacturers of Southeast Spain (Asociación de Fabricantes de Piensos Compuestos del Sureste de España, APICOSE), with the collaboration of the Spanish Confederation of Compound Feed Manufacturers (Confederación Española de Fabricantes de Alimentos Compuestos para Animales, CESFAC), the Community of Murcia and the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food (Ministerio de Agricultura, Pesca y Alimentación, MAPA).

After the many and varied vicissitudes that have impacted our sector in recent years, including the pandemic, the war in Ukraine and its effect on the supply of raw materials, we must add the severe drought suffered by the Spanish countryside in recent months, which has reduced cereal production by 50%. Once again, these adversities have demonstrated the resilience that characterizes our industry, which has faced and resolved these difficulties in an agile and professional manner.

The challenges facing the industry, apart from those mentioned above, are enormous. This Congress, with the slogan “New Horizons for Animal Feed”, should specifically address the future of our credentials related to sustainability in its three aspects: social, economic and environmental.
